Megan Henderson - Megan it's a good thing you live so close!  Thank you for all your time and caring in Art and in the classrooms.  Megan's energy and heart are boundless.

Barbara Hunter - Barb is responsible for copying, cutting and collating almost every piece of news and information you receive at home.  She helps out teachers that her kids don't have, in grades they are not even in.  We love ya Barb!

The Cruz Car Wash Gang - In mid September, a  car wash was held to benefit the family of Carlos Cruz.  A very special thank you to Maddie Velez and Maureen Walker, they lost many nights of sleep putting it all together.  Mickey Kempf saved the day by offering his business location, Bradford Autobody, plus water and supplies to hold the car wash.  Mickey, our hats are off to you!  Huge thanks to the parents and especially the KIDS who gave up their weekend time to come help - you showed us all what it is to be IB students.

 The Math Olympics Group - Mrs. Sandy Todd and Mr. Todd Enders dreamed and schemed up a gold medal way to make our kids get excited about learning their math facts.  The results were outstanding!  Thank you two so much!

                                          

Also, thank you to all the parents who came on Friday mornings in September to help grade and record 440 math tests.

Judy Culley - Judy Culley has been volunteering at Field for the past 2 years in art class with Mrs. Turk.  Judy comes twice a week to work with our K-2 classes.  She is a retired nurse and has a love for art.  She truly loves being around our children and they love being around her.  Judy's constant encouragement is inspiring.  Thank you Judy!

Carol Harguth - Carol Harguth started volunteering at Field last year.  She is a retired teacher of the Denver Public School system with over 30 years experience.  She connects easily with students and takes time to understand their needs.  The students love being around her.  She also helps with setting up the classrooms by doing bulletin boards and making many copies.  Thank you Ingrid for sharing your special mom.  Thank you Carol for giving yourself and your time.

Tom Schnickel - Tom is everywhere! 6:30 am on Harvest Run morning- there he was setting up. Afternoon carpool line- we spot him again helping kindies get home safely. Mr. Schnickle helps reading and writing groups in Kindergarten and second grade math groups. Obviously, Mrs. Schnickle has trained him well! Thank you Tom, for your countless hours, your sense of humor and your great big heart!

CJ Katzke - C.J. is a community volunteer who has been helping Mrs. Hochevar in the Library for many years. She loves spending time with our kids and the kids love seeing her! C.J. thank you for your time and dedication!

Manuel Bonilla - Manuel Bonilla volunteers his time helping in Senora Langston's class.  He helps with the ESL kids or the students who are more advanced Spanish speakers. He is there to assist all grade levels.  If Mr. Bonilla has a day off, he will be in classroom-all day.  Thank you Manuel for all your time and your commitment in helping to teach and reinforce the Spanish language.

Julia Bernzott - Julia Bernzott (mom of Sara in 1st grade) helps in Ms. Well's class every Thursday.  She helps around the classroom and with Thursday folders.  She has been a great help!  You will also find her assisting Mrs. Doskin's with reading groups in Kindergarten.  Thank you Julia for all your help and giving our "little one's" some extra attention.  You are greatly appreciated.

Don VanPutten - Thank you Don Van Putten for helping our 5th graders during their Young AmeriTowne experience.  Over the last 4 years, Don has come in to interview the students and give them the experience of trying to enter the work force.  This year he spent 2 days teaching the students about Mutual Funds and Investing.  Thank you so much for your time and experience that you brought to our students.  Thank you Mrs. Killy for sharing your dad.

Alan Bishop – Alan (Lynn Gray’s nephew) helps in the classroom with reading, writing and math. He will spend his entire day helping our little 1st graders. Alan is an Eagle Scout, and truly loves being around children and helping them learn. Thank you Alan for helping in Ms. Gray’s room. 
 
Nancy Dalen – Nancy helps in Miss Dalen’s classroom twice a week. She spends her time helping with reading and writing. She also helps with bulletin boards, copying and any other tasks that need to be done. Thank you Nancy for being a great volunteer, we love having you.
 
Dee Saspanski – Dee has been helping Mrs. Hochevar in the library every Wednesday for the past 10 years. She spends her mornings checking books out to our students.   She also helps Sharon process all the new books that come in to our library. Thank you Dee for all the time you have given our school and our beautiful library.

The Graduating 5th grade parents:  To those of you that have helped, fundraised, took notes, car washed, Sock Hopped and been at every Field Day, Harvest Run and Halloween Party our hats are off to you!  Thank you for your time and efforts over the years.  You will be missed!

5th Grade Exhibition VolunteersSylvia Clearwater, Marueen Walker, Deb Beckman, Rana van Leeuwen, GavynOoi and Barb Trenholme.  Ever wanted to relive your 5th grade year?  These ladies and LHS IB student have joined and mentored a 5th grade exhibition group ALL YEAR!  Thanks to all of you for helping our 5th graders find "share the planet and exist peacefully"  You are all amazing!

Billie Quintana:  Thank you Billie for all your efforts and hours to produce an entertaining "Field's Got Talent" Talent Show.  Billie has an amazing passion for helping kids shine on the stage.  Many thanks for showing our kids how to be stars.
