Student Council is sponsored by two of our teachers each year. Mrs. Wells and Mrs. Moore are the 2008-2009 sponsors. It gives 3rd, 4th and 5th graders the opportunity to run for office at the beginning of the year. Then, the members choose activities to help our school spirit, or raise funds for a community group. The members learn how to raise the flag and are taught Flag Etiquette by American Legion members. Student council members take turns reciting the Pledge of Allegiance in both English and our IB language, Spanish.  Student Counil members are also in charge of reporting their activities from the meetings to not only their own classrooms but a buddy class as well.
